| Day 1: Arrival - Istanbul Arrival in Istanbul and meeting at the airport, transfer to the hotel, check- in. Later in the afternoon, meet your guide and have a walking tour of Taksim and Beyoglu for some first impressions of Turkish life. In the evening, we will accompany you to visit one of the famous Turkish baths for a traditional hamman. Overnight Istanbul. | Click to enlarge  | Day 2: Istanbul Full day guided sightseeing in Old Istanbul visiting the famous Blue Mosque, the Hippodrome and Obelisks. Also on our itinerary is visiting Aya Sofya, the first church of Christianity, the Grand Bazaar and tour of Museum of Turkish and Islamic Arts, housed in a 16th century palace built by the brother-in-law of Sultan Suleyman. In the afternoon, you will visit Topkapi Palace built in 1468 as a summer palace for Mehmet the Conqueror and the mosque of Suleymaniye the Magnificent, considered one of the finest creation of the greatest Ottoman architects. | Day 3: Istanbul & Bosphorus We take a guided Bosphorus cruise to visit the Dolmabahçe Palace, cruising past wooden 19th century seafront mansions, picturesque villages and modern pleasure palaces. We disembark at the mouth of the Black Sea, driving along the strait to the Sadberk Hanim Museum housing a rich collection of Anatolian works of arts, antiques and relics dating back to 6,000BC. After lunch, we take a short drive to the 19th century summer palace of the sultans in the Bosphorus village of Beylerbeyi. After returning to Istanbul, we visit the Spice Bazaar, the second largest covered bazaar in Istanbul. Overnight Istanbul. | Click to enlarge
| Day 4: Gallipoli - Dardanelles - CanakkaleDepart early from hotel and drive to Gallipoli. Visit Dardanelles, Kabatepe Wat Museum, Brighton Beach and Anzac Cove where the dawn service is held each Anzac Day. Visit also scheduled to the Lone Pine Australian Memorial, Johnston’s Jolly, Chunk Bair New Zealand Memorial and Kilitbahir Fortress. After lunch we cross the Dardanelles and arrive in Canakkale. | Day 5: Troy - PergamonAfter breakfast, drive to Troy. Visit the ancient city of Troja and Trojan Horse. Continue driving to Pergamon where you will visit the Asclepion, Acropol and Red Basilica - a remarkable piece of engineering built into the steep hillside. | Day 6: EphesusFull day tour of Ephesus and Virgin Mary’s house. First, visit the ruins of the Temple of Artemis, one of the seven wonders of the ancient world. In the ancient city of Ephesus, you will see some of the best preserved theatres, fountains and buildings in the world. We will visit the pilgrimage site of the House of the Virgin and also a visit to the Museum of Ephesus. Overnight in Kusadasi. | Click to enlarge 
| Day 7: Aphrodisias Drive to Aphrodisias to explore the remains of the ancient city of Aphrodite. After visiting the stadium, Temple of Aphrodite we continue to Pamukkale, a spa known through the ancient world. Overnight in Pamukkale. | Click to enlarge 
| Day 8: Panukkale – Hierapolis - Perge – Aspendos - AntalyaDrive to Panukkale to view the “Cotton Cliffs”, one of the natural wonders of the world formed by deposits of calcareous salts. Visit the ancient ruins of the city of Hierapolis including its basilica, theatre and Roman baths. On the drive to Antalya, on the “Turquoise Coast”, we stop to visit the Pamphylian cites of Perge and Aspendos, famous for the well-preserved theater of the ancient world. | Day 9: Konya Drive to Konya where we visit the Mevlana Museum and the tomb of Mevlana, founder of the mystical Whirling Dervishes, Karatay Medrese & the Ince Minare - now a museum. Discover the bazaars in your free time. Overnight Konya. | Click to enlarge 
| Day 10: Cappadocia Early departure for Cappadocia. Events include touring Open Air Museum of Goreme visiting the numerous churches and monasteries, the Devrent Valley, Zelve Open-air Museum, a natural amphitheater at the junction of 3 canyons where the cliff faces are riddled with openings to houses and churches, many with frescoes still visible and Monk’s valley where you will find the famous “fairy chimneys”. | Day 11: Cappadocia - Cavusin Depart after breakfast for the second part of our Cappadocia region tour. We will hike through the Rose Valley visiting the churches. Afterwards visit the old Christian village of Cavusin. W e stop for lunch in Pigeons Valley, then continue to see the marvel of construction – Kaymakli Underground City. Here you will also visit the Ortahisar Natural Rock Castle. In the evening, we will have a cooking class in preparing several Turkish dishes. Overnight Cappadocia. | Click to enlarge 
| Day 12: Hattusas-Ankara Drive to Hattusas, the capital city of the Hittites and the site of the world famous cuneiform tablets. See also the rock shrine of Yazilikaya, featuring drawings by the Hittites. Drive to Ankara while enjoying the view of Salt Lake. In the evening, we have a chance to go bowling. | Day 13: Ankara-Istanbul Visit Anitkabir Museum, a mausoleum built for Ataturk. Next stop is the Anatolian Civilizations Museum, the finest collection of Anatolian works & remains.
